Selecting the right pillow

Pillows are personal and are key to a healthy night’s sleep. Here are points to consider when selecting your pillow.

Sleeper Type, Comfort Gap, Neck and Shoulder widths, Mattress firmness.

Side, Back, Stomach

This is the distance from your head out to the far edge of your shoulder (Head Gap). Do you have broad shoulders? And how long is your neck? Also, is the length of your neck the same as your shoulder width, longer or shorter.

This will determine the space that you want your pillow to fit.

Neck Gap = measure from the outside of your shoulder to the side of your neck (mid-way between your ear and shoulder)

Neck Length = measure from the top of your jaw, just below your ear, down to the bottom of your neck

A firmer mattress has a larger ‘Comfort Gap’. The taller the height of pillow is, the larger the Comfort Gap

Knowing these things will help guide you in finding the perfect fit for your Imbibe pillow.

All of our Pillows have multiple sizes so that you’ll find just the right fit for a naturally nurturing sleep.

Every pillow comes with a luxurious cover that unzips for easy cleaning maintenance.

You’ll love that Jillie aids in decreasing facial lines and wrinkles that are caused by improper sleep positions. It’s also ideal for plastic surgery patients as the surgeries require a modified sleeping position for a number of days for recovery. Caring for your imbibe products

Product care

Take care of your pillow by:

Do Not put in the Washing Machine. The pillows are not waterproof. They are porous and will absorb water (and become very heavy) which is why they should not be submerged in water.
They are also not flame resistant.

We recommend Spot Cleaning only, lay flat and allow to air dry.

For removing any stains from the pillow:

Mix a small amount of mild detergent (like Woolite) in lukewarm water. Use a clean cloth to apply the mixture to the stain(s). Repeat until the stain is removed. When complete, dip the cloth in plain water and blot any remaining soap from the pillow.

Allow to air dry completely before replacing the cover.

For refreshing the pillow:

To refresh the pillow, cover the foam completely in a thin layer of baking soda and allow to sit for at least an hour, then vacuum off the baking soda.

Caution:

Placing foam in direct sun is not recommended due to oxidation (light will cause the foam to become yellow).

Do Not Bleach

Cover care

Each design has its own cover. All covers are a blend of Lycra and Nylon that provides comfort, durability, and flexibility. They have a zipper for easy removal and are machine washable.

Caring for the cover is very easy:

  • Unzip and remove the cover from the pillow
  • Wash in cold water with mild detergent
  • Let the cover hang/air dry or use low heat in the dryer
