I would love to hear the origin. I am a side back sleeper and my comfort gap is pretty small. Standard pillows are usually too big and put my neck on an upward angle. I wake up with headaches, or worse I never get to sleep. With this pillow, I can turn on my side and my neck is supported. I can turn on my back and the same thing! The addition of copper and graphite, help me to feel comfortable about the pillow staying clean. Can I put the cover in the dryer? The cover is sooo soft. I love it!Read more

Therapeutic movement is helpful for clients who have existing debilitating disorders. Gaining strength is our goal and being able to switch positions from back-lying to side lying is a daily activity. Providing side and back support, I chose this design for clients who have sensitive necks in both positions. I received the same feedback from each client, "This is the best pillow I have ever experienced!" For personal use, in one night, I was able to breathe more easily. The ear I slept on drained in the night. I have been able to hear out of it more clearly since the first night. I also felt a cervical spine adjustment after standing up and leaning over to pick up clothes. I feel so excited to sleep on this pillow the rest of my life!Read more

I slept on my left side that night and woke up with the most interesting side effects. First, I noticed my left ear had drained and I have been able to hear out of it much better for the past several weeks. Then, as I was dressing for the day, my cervical spine adjusted. It was as though I had gone to the chiropractor. It has been almost a month since my experience and I am still reaping the benefits. I am literally dreaming of sleeping on this pillow again!Read more

I chose this pillow to use with a client who is practicing movement to slow a disorder that causes progressive weakening and wasting of breathing muscles, as well as arms and legs. Their neck is weak due to the condition so their input for this pillow is important. In the side-lying position, the client immediately exclaimed that the “Aruna” is the best pillow they have experienced. For someone who has had to prioritize neck support, this was a hopeful moment and they are looking forward to sleeping on this pillow in the future.Read more

My first experience with the Aruna back and side sleeper pillow was amazing! I’m a side sleeper and my head and neck felt fully supported in a way they never have before. I woke up feeling refreshed and alert. I recommend giving it a week or so trial because it took me some time to get used to sleeping with this much support and my body had to adjust. I also use this pillow for mediation. I love it!

For the shoulder and back pillow I would give it a 4. I love the cooling feature and neck support. It feels like my head is being cradled. I think I would like the support part to be a little firmer. After a bit it would collapse under my weight. Maybe a more dense foam rod that runs through the interior of the support portion?
